Inclusive and elevated massage therapy for the 2SLGBTQ+ community

A place to be comfortably Queer.

MEET YOUR THERAPIST

Hi, I'm Chantel

SHE/HER

I'm a Queer Registered Massage Therapist, intersectional feminist, and the proud owner of Haven Therapeutic Massage - a private practice dedicated to supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community of Toronto.

Currently, Haven is the only registered massage therapy practice in Toronto devoted to serving the Queer community.

As a graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, I offer therapeutic, relaxation-focused treatments.

We're a good match if you're looking for slow, firm, targeted work in a spa-like environment with lots of natural light.

We're probably not a good match if you're looking for sports-style, rehabilitative, physiotherapy style work in a dimly lit room.

My treatment philosophy is to have you feeling safe, autonomous and embodied.

Your comfort starts here.

We're a good match if you’re experiencing:

Stress

Headaches

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Exhaustion

Insomnia/Poor Sleep

Chronic Pain

Burnout

Generalized Muscle Tension

Physical symptoms of Anxiety/Depression

Did I mention, I'm always learning...

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of many Nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.

We also acknowledge all Treaty peoples – including those who came here as settlers – as migrants either in this generation or in generations past – and those of us who came here involuntarily, particularly forcibly displanted Africans brought here as a result of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and Slavery. We pay tribute to those ancestors of African origin and descent.
